In the ever-changing pandemic era, many of the RV Friendly Festivals across Canada have had to postpone their 2021 events… but there are a few festivals that will be live, and some will be virtual – here is your update, as of July 2, 2021.
Please check with the event organizers to confirm the status as the dates approach.
One of the best parts of summertime in Canada is the sheer amount of festivals across the country. No matter what kind of music you enjoy, or how you like to spend your leisure time, there’s sure to be a festival that fits your taste. Here are a few festivals throughout our country that have camping and accommodations for your RV.
Rock N Roll Will Never Die
July 8-10, 2021| Mallorytown, ON
Happy Green Acres Campground has announced a new festival, the Rock N Roll Will Never Die Festival. From July 8-10, 2021, campers will be able to attend a three-day festival, right from their campgrounds. The festival will have performances from Déjà vu, The Dreamboats, and the Stares, each headlining a specific day of the festival, as well as many other artists performing.
The festival will include a mix of 50s, 60s, and 70s rock music. The festival will begin at 4:30 on July 8 and 9, while beginning at 4:00 on July 10. Information for the event is on the Happy Green Acres Website at https://happygreenacres.com/upcoming-events/

Republic Live proudly announces the ‘Endless Summer Series’, celebrating an all-Canadian mixed-genre outdoor concert series with camping available. The first event kicks off August long weekend at Burl’s Creek, following the Province’s Stage 2 Covid regulations and featuring physical distancing. Festival fans, concert goers and traditional campers can all reunite under one sky to enjoy the great outdoors and great music in a covid-safe space.
As a venue, Burl’s Creek Event Grounds typically has over 40,000 fans in attendance for Boots and Hearts Music Festival, Canada’s largest country and camping festival. With nearly 600 acres of event space, the venue can host over 70,000 fans, and will utilize the ample space to operate safely at an extremely reduced concert capacity of 5,000 fans.
Rock out to some of your favourite classic rock songs with the first festival of the Endless Summer Series. From July 30-August 1, 2021, many of the best tribute bands in Ontario such as The Practically Hip, Crush, and Hells Bells will be performing live.
For any camper that enjoys classic rock, this festival is a must see event.
Boots & Hearts is back August 6 – 7, 2021 ! The legendary festival has teamed up with Endless Summer Series to put on the Boots & Hearts Showcase, a festival specifically catered towards new, young country artists looking to make a splash in the music industry.
With the first Boots & Hearts festival to be held in 2022, this collaboration is not only a great way to give new artists exposure, but also a great activity for campers to check out.
The last of the announced events for the Endless Summer Series includes some fairly large Canadian bands. The festival will take place from August 13-14, 2021. and with performances from Our Lady Peace, The Trews, and many others, this last event is designed to be specifically for the headline performers.
Fergus Scottish Festival
August 13-15, 2021| Fergus, ON
World and National Scottish heavy events competitions, pipe band competitions, highland dancers, research tools and lectures in the Genealogy Centre, Celtic musicians and over 100 international vendors and more. Stan Rogers Folk Festival

International festival of songwriters, showcasing Canadian and worldwide grassroots musicians in all genres. The festival has won a number of East Coast Music Awards and attracts over 10,000 music fans each year. Ample Camping.
Merritt Rockin’ River Fest

RV campers are at the heart of the big festival. Additional five campsites, with quiet camping, social campsites for those who like to socialize and cabins. Single-day camping available.
Boots & Hearts Music Festival
August 4-7, 2022 | Oro-Medonte, ON
Hosted at Burls Creek Event Grounds in Oro Medonte, Boots and Hearts is a weekend long country music festival featuring some of the biggest names in the scene today. RV sites are approximately 20’x50’ and 30 amp/50amp sites are available.
30th Annual Havelock Country Jamboree
August 18-21, 2022 | Havelock, ON
Canada’s largest outdoor country music and camping festival celebrates 30 years. Watch 25 performers, including Billy Currington, a mix of veteran and young up-and-coming artists from North America. Craft Beer Festival added this year. www.havelockjamboree.com
August 19-21, 2022| Elora, ON
Held in Bissel Park on the banks of the
Grand River in Ontario, is Riverfest Elora. Now in its 11th year, this festival is the town’s celebration of music, arts and culture at its finest. Camping is available at the

International Plowing Match & Rural Expo
September 20-24, 2022 | Walton, Huron County, ON
Join them for a week of “A Fresh Taste of Farming.” Camping is available on site and includes admission to the expo, nightly entertainment, 30 AMP serviced sites, and shuttle transportation. www.plowingmatch.org
Ever After Fest

Located on the grounds of Bingeman’s Event Centre, this three day concert not only features new and upcoming bands and artists, but it’s a whole family experience! There’s a water park, midway rides, games, indoor playground for the kids, bowling, arcades and restaurants! Cavendish Beach Music Festival

This music festival is centrally located between Charlottetown and Summerville on the Cavendish Event Grounds. Canadian and local musicians gather here for four days of fun and excitement on the tiny island of P.E.I. Fox Mountain Country Music Festival

Three days of country music in beautiful Aylesford, Nova Scotia. Fox Mountain Campground provides shuttle services to and from the festival. Hot showers and flush toilets are available on site. Free admission for children 14 and under if accompanied by a parent.

2022 Dates to be Announced| Guelph, ON
The annual not-for-profit festival held in Guelph, Ontario, returns in 2019 for its 36th year.. This three-day festival celebrates creativity through artistic expression, community engagement and environmental leadership.
