| This
year’s weather patterns have certainly thrown
us a curveball these past couple of months. It’s
almost as though the west and east sides of Canada
have decided to trade conditions. Although, this certainly
hasn’t changed the plans of snowbirds that have
already made it down to their southerly-located hideaways.
As for the rest of us, we have remained here biding
our time until local campgrounds open again. Meanwhile,
we can organize our upcoming travelling schedule to
revisit old camping hangouts, or discover new locales
in provinces we have yet to set foot.
These journeys may be experienced in motorhomes or
towables that have served us well for many years.
However, some peoples’ resolutions for 2007
include purchasing a brand new rig. If that is the
case for you, then you can look forward to our annual
RV Lifestyle Buyers’ Guide to appear in our
next issue – earlier than it has ever before!
The new year will also mean great new stories for
you, including articles on how to get the most out
of your RV vacation, what to look for when purchasing
a new unit, must-have accessories to make camping
with your rig a breeze, interesting places you should
see, and many more helpful tips on how to ensure your
travels turn out to be memorable ones. We have often
found that the ‘little details’ are the
most helpful, so future features will include even
more useful tidbits that can help improve your entire
road trip.
As always, your feedback is highly valued. Write in
to us if you have suggestions that would make life
easier for your fellow RVers, a question on towing
that can be handled by our resident technical writers,
or other topics that are important to you.
Remember, we enjoy meeting our readers, so drop by
our booth at one of the many upcoming RV shows!
