The
Gulf Stream EnduraMax 6361 is a pit stop on wheels for motorsports
fans – spacious enough to accommodate four adults and
their toys.
A Class C built on the Chevy Kodiak chassis, it combines the
comfort of a mid-range motorhome with the versatility of a rolling
garage. The concept of a ‘Toy Mover’ is to create
an area capable of transporting an ATV, snowmobile, pair of
motorcycles, or even a small SUV.
This class focuses on the ease of loading and unloading the
garage area. The EnduraMax is equipped with a 1,600-pound capacity
lift gate that operates at the touch of a button. With the gate
lowered, a security garage door protects gear, and a roll-down
screen door keeps the garage bug free. During the warmer weather,
owners park their vehicles on the campsite, put out a set of
portable stairs and use the garage as a patio. At the forward
end of the garage, a ladder leads to the roof intended as a
personal observation deck.
On the road, the Kodiak chassis delivers the beef with a V8
Vortec engine and smooth shifting automatic transmission. Handling
is very good for a rig of this type, especially when loaded
with vehicles. Don’t be fooled by the size. This baby
not only has the pep to keep up with traffic, it boasts a 35-foot
turning radius that’s tighter than many mid-size cars.
As a special purpose motorhome, you would expect the EnduraMax
to be equipped for serious technology, and this Gulf Stream
stands ready to deliver the goods. The 4.0 Generac generator
and 30-amp service with auto changeover and converter can handle
all of your entertainment, comfort and power tool requirements.
The dual auxiliary batteries facilitate dry camping in the pit
compound of a motorsports event, or at your favourite recreation
area.
The cargo area is clean and uncluttered, yet fully equipped.
Constructed with serious outdoor recreation in mind, it features
aluminum, diamond-plate trim in key areas, and an easy-care
non-skid floor mat. Tie-down rings at strategic locations provide
secure attachment points for a wide range of cargo. Overhead
storage compartments are well designed to hold supplies, gear
and tools without reducing toy space.
