The Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally (33-4)

Step back in time and catch all the chrome-studded action at the 4th annual Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally. If you're among the many people who appreciate the classic lines of vintage RVs, then you'll definitely want to make your way to the Buffalo Lake Camping Resort in Montello, Wisconsin this June for the fourth annual Midwest Vintage Trailer Rally. Organizer Kimberly Stein expects more than 50 classic Shastas, Spartans, Scottys, Teardrops and Airstreams to fill the campground at this summer's event, scheduled from June 24 through 27 inclusive. "This year we're planning to have an RV historian, a lawn chair drive in, cookouts, live entertainment, catered breakfast, and of course, a show-and-shine," says Steiner. "We will be open for public viewing on the 26th from noon till five pm. It's going to be quite the shindig!" Steiner, who also leads the Vintage Shasta Club (http://n2vintage.tripod.com/) says eight trailers attended the inaugural rally in 2002, while 26 made the trek last year. With the tremendous response to last year's event, she expects more than 50 units this year. Registration for the entire three days is US $125.
