Dodge engineers
had their work cut out for them when it came time to update
the popular Durango.
The
Dodge Durango has been an effective tow vehicle for travel
trailers for a few years now. For 2004, it has been upgraded
with extra room and comfort while towing a heavier load. The
Durango's wheelbase has been extended by three inches, and
its overall length stretched by seven inches. It is also three
inches taller and three inches wide than the original model.
This provides a smoother ride and more interior space for
passengers with increased head, hip and leg room. With a large
102.4 cubic feet of cargo space and Fold and Tumble third
row seat, the Durango offers the convenience and hauling capacity
required of a larger SUV.
