By now you've probably noticed
that this issue of RV Lifestyle looks just a little bit different.
RV Lifestyle magazine first established itself as Canada's
premier RV publication back in 1971. In the 32 years since,
the magazine hasn't just changed with the times, it has helped
define them. That dedication to excellence continues today.
Our exciting new cover treatment, and fresh interior design,
reflects our commitment to bringing you the most relevant,
entertaining and informative RV magazine anywhere.
In-depth road tests and technical features will remain the
hallmark of your magazine. In this issue, the breadth of our
coverage is clearly apparent as we look at Damon's 2004 Ultrasport
Class A and Honda's redesigned Pilot tow vehicle. We're not
kidding when we say we cover the world of RVing, big and small.
This issue of RV Lifestyle is different in other ways too,
beyond what you can see. From the first story concepts to
the final printing of the mailing labels, this issue was published
and printed entirely on computers. While we've used computers
to write the magazine and to design the layouts for years,
this is the first time we've been able to incorporate them
all the way through to the actual printing press. I think
it's very exciting. Moving to fully digital production allows
us to create a better quality product, with brighter photos
and crisper type. At the same time, because the whole process
uses computers in place of physical materials and supplies,
there's far less impact on our environment. If we need to
change something, it's a simple matter of clicking a computer
mouse. The end result is less waste material and chemicals
going into landfills. Talk about a win-win situation!
Certainly the greatest joy in owning an RV is being able to
enjoy our country's natural wonders. We believe our fresh
new look brings this experience to you even better than before,
and with our new digital printing, with so much less impact
on the natural world we all take pleasure in. So enjoy your
magazine, and look for even more great things on the horizon.
