RVing in the New World (Vol.30 No.7)

So many things have changed in our lives since the fateful day in September, when madmen who neither knew nor cared about the values of freedom, liberty, and justice, declared war on civilization.

In the space of a few minutes, thousands of the finest minds in the free world were squandered at the hands of barbarians for whome a stone-age standard of living was preferable to the standards set by the most advanced and generous nation on earth.

In Canada, where the majority of the population resides within an hour's drive of the U.S. border, the shock of the attack was like an assault on our own family, made even more appalling by the fact that many of the perpetrators has been welcomed, and assisted by the very country they had chosen to defile.

Canadians from sea to sea applauded our goverment, as our elected officials moved without delay to join our American cousins in the fight to save civilization as we know it.

To those who have lost loved ones, we offer our deepest sympathy. To President Bush, and the members of the governments and the armed forces of many nations who will do battle with the terrorist threat, we give our complete support. All Canadians are proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with the United States, as we fight to preserve the values of the free world. (Top)
