It's the heart of the RV season,
and the Camping Canada RV Lifestyle magazine Road Test Team have
completed their work for the year. Not that crew ever really relaxes
- they are off on the road to RV adventures, visiting the factories
to begin our reports on the 2002 models.
Our Test issue is filled with the culmination of several months
observations and impressions of a cross-section of RVs on the
Canadian market. We have included a sample of every type of vehicle,
in price ramges from basic entry level units to fully equipped
luxury models.
For the Canadian RV family, the selection of a new or used vehicle
is a major undertaking, and there is much to be gained from vidsiting
our local RV dealer, and learning about the many advances in RV
technology.
At RV Lifestyle magazine, we are often asked which model is right
for a particular family. Our response is always the same - choose
your RV based on the confidence you have in the manufacturer,
and your local dealer. Let the dealer's expertise help you narrow
the decision down to a handful of vehicle, then sit down in each
RV and take a long look at the floorplan - is the interior spacious
enough for your family? Do the appliances and entertainment features
seems to be in appropriate place? Is the bedroom comfortable?
Are you comfortable driving (or towing) the RV? Should you look
at a slightly larger or more elaborate model?
These are the most personal aspects of the RV selection process
- the areas of taste and preferences, which only you can define.
If your RV dealer has the insight to guide you along the way to
choosing the perfect vehivle for your needs, then you have made
the right choice.
Our reports in this issue will serve as basis for your RV research.
