One of the most fascinating aspects
of the RV lifestyle has always been the opportunity to take the
family on a voyage of discovery throughout this great land. Every
year, as soon as school ends, our RV adventure in Canada begins,
with the only limitations being the length of our vacations, and
the scope of our imaginations.
Over the years, we have followed the routes of the courier des
bois, the great explorers, and even the Canada geese — we’ve dipped
our toes in the waters of the Atlantic, the Pacific, and the Arctic
oceans — all during the course of our RV adventures. It has, and
continues to be, an invigorating quest for knowledge, and it fuels
our desire to learn more and more about this wonderful country.
In this issue of Camping Canada’s RV Lifestyle magazine we ride
along with James Stoness on one of the most interesting of the
Canadian RV routes, following the mighty St. Lawrence River from
its mouth to the 1000 Islands. It is a route steeped in the history
of our nation and adorned with some of the most incredible scenery
North America has to offer.
We also share the adventure of a Vancouver Island tour with our
“Cooking Ladies”, those intrepid RVers who always seem to find
a way to your heart with food, as they roam the countryside in
their motorhome. All this and more, as our staff help to bring
the RV lifestyle to your family.
At this time of year, we are very busy compiling road tests and
travel features for the coming issues of RV Lifestyle magazine.
If this is your first taste of the publication, we thank you for
