The
new Chevrolet Avalanche is a revolutionary truck combining
the best features of a pick-up and an SUV. The design is
so unique, the manufacturer has created a new automotive
category –– the Ultimate Utility Vehicle (UUV).
(Able
to tow between 8,100 and 12,000 lbs, depending on the engine,
the Analanche can haul almost any travel trailer around.)
The base price in Canada for the 1500 Series
Avalanche 2WD model will be $38,960 and the base for the
4WD will be $42,205. A fully equipped 4WD model will come
in at $49,205. The 1500 series comes standard with 16-inch
tires.
(
The interior is luxurious but sporty. Built tough, the material
is meant to withstand the messiest of adventurers.)
You may personalize your Avalanche with
many GM designed and engineered accessories to suite any
adventurous side. Bike racks, ski and snowboard carriers,
grill guards, bed tents and custom truck covers are all
available from your dealer to enhance any camping trip.
The Avalanche has unrivalled adaptability
and bold aggressive styling. Offering two vehicles for the
price of one, it is a truck designed to tow your trailer
with attitude; truly the first of its kind.
(When the back window is removed and
the midgate lowered, the cargo space is equivalent to an
8'1" long box truck with its gate up.)
(The box can be layered with a sheet of plywood so you don't
have to unload items on top to get to those below.)
