Thirty Years On The Road (Vol.30 No.1)

This issue of Camping Canada's RV Lifestyle Magazine marks the beginning of our third decade of service to Canadian RV enthusiasts. During this time, we have had the pleasure of producing more than 200 magazine issues, filled with all of the information and insights families need to make the most of their RV vacations.

It has been an interesting time for all of our staff, as we learned to live "the good life" on the RV roads of North America. We have driven hundreds of RV models, visited numerous campsites throughout Canada and the Untied States, and, most importantly, met many of our readers at rallies and RV shows from coast to coast, and beyond.

Our 30th Anniversary year will feature a number of milestones, as we cast a retrospective eye on the people and products we have encountered since 1971.

Our March issue, the annual RV Buyer's Guide, will be the official commemorative of the anniversary year, focusing on the latest in RV technology, as well as the notable RV's of the past. Throughout the year, each issue will carry "flashback" sections, which will be a treat for both the experienced RV readers, and those who are just heading out on their personal roads to adventure.

As I reflect on the 30th Anniversary year, I would like to thank the many readers who have been part of the Camping Canada RV Lifestyle family since the very beginning. It is amazing to note that more than 500 subscribers have received each issue of the magazine for 25 years or more, and thousands of families are now enjoying the magazine with a second and in some cases a third generation of RV enthusiasts.

As a Canadian publication, this magazine brings a national perspective to a lifestyle based on travel and touring. Our goal has always been, and will continue to be, to present the products and information you require to make the most of a very family oriented activity.

Our achievements over the past thirty years are a reflection of the hard work and dedication of our expert publication staff, and I salute them all for a job very well done.
